This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you do with Half Off Dev, including what your own users do through your account or your keys.
Everywhere#
Don't use the Service to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- create, store or share sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children;
- make or spread malware, ransomware, phishing pages, or tools whose purpose is to compromise systems or accounts;
- attack, probe or overload systems you don't own or have permission to test (including denial-of-service);
- defraud people, impersonate others, or run scams;
- harass, threaten, stalk, dox or incite violence against anyone;
- send spam or other unsolicited bulk messages;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights;
- get around our limits: share an account to avoid limits, collect promotional credit more than once, use stolen payment methods, or interfere with metering and billing;
- break, probe or reverse-engineer the Service itself, or access other customers' data.
Models#
Follow the usage policies of the company that made each model you call (for example Anthropic's, OpenAI's and Google's). Don't use models to generate content those policies forbid, and don't try to extract model weights or train a competing model on outputs where the model's terms forbid it.
Data tools#
- Use data tools for public information and lawful purposes such as research, market analysis, lead generation and monitoring.
- When the results include personal data, you are responsible for complying with privacy and data-protection law (for example the GDPR and CCPA): have a lawful basis, keep the data secure, and honour people's requests.
- Don't use results to stalk, profile or discriminate against people, to build lists of sensitive personal data (health, religion, sexual orientation, political opinions, and similar), or to contact people in ways the law forbids.
- Respect copyright in what you retrieve and in how you republish it.
Browser agent#
- Only use the agent on accounts you own or are authorized to use, and only store credentials you are entitled to use.
- Don't use it to create accounts in bulk, to buy up limited goods or tickets for resale, to post fake reviews or engagement, or to get around a site's access controls, paywalls or security checks other than by completing them legitimately.
- Keep the agent's pace reasonable; don't use it to put an unreasonable load on any website.
Cloud agents and shared files#
- Don't host or distribute phishing pages, malware, illegal content, or content that impersonates someone else through agent workspaces or share links.
- Don't use agents to mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies, or run anything that attacks other systems.
Enforcement#
We may refuse or stop a request, run or agent, revoke keys or share links, withdraw promotional credit, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. When we can, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to fix it.
Reporting abuse#
If you see the Service being misused — for example a phishing page on a share link — open a ticket in Support with the link and what you found.
